Court of Appeal Upholds Denial of Golden State Environmental Justice Alliance’s $650,000 Claim for Attorney’s Fees

The Court of Appeal upheld the trial court’s denial of Golden State Environmental Justice Alliance’s approximately $650,000 claim for attorney’s fees as the lawsuit “did not confer significant benefits on anyone.” This concludes the litigation regarding the Landmark Apartments project in West Los Angeles. This same Court previously upheld the trial court’s partial denial of the mandate petition and denied two attempts by Golden State to enjoin project construction.
